Switching jobs on an E-7 visa — do I report the change before or after?
Got an offer from a new company in Songdo while on an E-7. I'm confused about the order: do I notify immigration BEFORE I start, or just report within 15 days? My current employer's E-7 was tied to them. I think I need a new contract, the company's documents, and to file a 'change of workplace' on HiKorea or in person at Incheon Immigration. Anyone done an E-7 transfer recently — did you need a release letter from the old job?

Report the change within 15 days of starting. Some roles need prior permission first.

I needed the old employer's business registration and a release doc. Mine cooperated, lucky.
